Community
In 2006 the chorus was awarded a significant grant from the City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods Small and Simple Grants program to build our organizational strength and produce “Shilshole on the Pacific Rim,” a concert celebrating our connection to the global community. We have been awarded the highly competitive Civic Partners Grant from the Seattle Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs every year since 2012.

We appear at numerous venues throughout the community and collaborating with numerous, diverse guest artists and other performing ensembles and bring our popular Festival of Favorites choral classics sing-along to the Northwest Folklife Festival annually. We are a non-audition, volunteer organization with an inclusive, service-oriented vision. We seek to be an agent of change and community building through musical excellence and public outreach.
